ATHLETE SPONSORED BY MBH LAW competes at world championship triathlon
We reported back in May 2016 that Mahony Burrowes Horner were the proud sponsors of Jo Crawford, an ITU World Championship Triathlete.
Jo has now returned from the ITU World Championship in Cozumel, Mexico.
Jo came 6th place in her age group, out of 74 athletes, and posted the 3rd fastest run split. In her age group, the top three competitors have all raced pro-elite, so it was always going to be a hard day at the office for Jo!
Overall, 540 female competitors took part, and Jo placed 34th, an amazing achievement!
Jo has battled issues with her foot this season, so she feels her run let her down, but nevertheless we are proud that she held on to a top 10 placing in the world for 2016.
Jo is now working on some new goals for her next adventure, the Gold Coast ITU round 2 race in April 2017.
