Diako Ishmael has joined Mahony Burrowes Horner Lawyers as a solicitor working in both our litigation and commercial teams.
Diako earned his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Waikato in April 2015 and was admitted to the bar in December that same year. He studied numerous areas of law giving him a wide range of capabilities. Because of his past experiences in business, Diako is particularly interested in commercial and company law, more specifically international investment law.
Prior to joining MBH Law, Diako worked focussing on employment law matters in both the legal and AdviceLine teams at the Employers and Manufacturers Association in Auckland. Diako has also engaged in volunteer work at the Ministry of Justice's Community Law Waikato centre. As a part of that role Diako worked alongside duty solicitors in obtaining and managing the necessary information from clients with respect to appropriate areas of law.
Diako is a highly motivated, team-oriented individual with great ambitions for his role with Mahony Burrowes Horner Lawyers.
