Harry Rattray is a senior member of the firm who specialises in property, commercial and private client matters.
Harry has extensive experience in property law, having acted for a variety of clients, from corporates undertaking large scale property developments to individuals and couples purchasing their first home. The work he has undertaken includes:
He also has significant experience dealing with company and commercial matters, including advising on corporate governance, business acquisitions and sales and shareholder arrangements. In addition, Harry has expertise in estate planning matters such as family trusts, enduring powers of attorney, and wills.
Harry joined Mahony Burrowes Horner in March 2017 after returning from London, where he worked as a legal professional. Before his time in London, Harry worked in Morrison Kent’s Wellington office where he acted for a high calibre of commercial and private clients. Harry originally commenced his legal career as a solicitor in the commercial team at Preston Russell Law’s Invercargill office.
Harry will be working alongside Tom Mahony in managing the private client, commercial and property teams.
